TERMS & CONDITIONS

BOOKING TERMS


Please ensure that you arrive 10 minutes prior to your booking time. This allows time to relax, go to the bathroom and change prior to your appointment and ensures you enjoy the full duration of your booking. New clients will also need to fill in a client card which will take a few minutes. Plan your time carefully as late arrival may reduce the duration of your treatment.


We take your privacy and care seriously. Prior to your appointment, please complete the waiver and consent forms emailed to you from Soak House Adelaide in relation to your treatments. This will ensure your treatments go smoothly and run on time.


You will be prompted to complete a Waiver and Risk Assesment prior to your appointment at the time of booking online with our Fresha booking system. If you are unable to pre-fill the form, please ensure to arrive 10 minutes prior to the appointment to give appropriate time to change and fill in the consent form.


If you are booking a treatment as a surprise, please enter your own email and ignore the waiver form for the recipient. Please ensure your lucky recipient arrives 10 minutes prior to the appointment to give appropriate time to change and fill in the waiver form.


We take no responsibility for any items that are lost or stolen at the facility. We recommend any valuable items are left at home.


Soak House Adelaide reserves the right to change prices and services without notice.

ETIQUETTE


We request that mobile phones and other devices be turned to silent or off.
Please no phone conversations in reception, the hallway or in the soak house.


Good hygiene and safety must be practised, as per Soak House Adelaide and government requirements.

Rinse before entering the pools and in between the sauna/steam and the pools.
Appropriate clothing or swimwear must be worn at all times – no nudity!

Soak House Adelaide is a calm environment, so please keep noise to a minimum.

Respect fellow bathers and staff at all times. Aggressive, rude, discriminatory, sexual or inappropriate behaviour will not be tolerated.

​

Selfies are permitted, but photographs of others without their consent is strictly prohibited. Always be mindful of the privacy of other guests.

​

We are a non-smoking facility.

Alcohol and drugs are not permitted at Soak House Adelaide.

​

DEPOSIT AND CANCELLATION POLICY


All bookings must be paid for in full at the time of booking.

Bookings may be made via booking directly through our website or in-person using EFTPOS.

​

Any cancellation or reschedule made less than 24 hours prior to an appointment, will result in a cancellation fee. The amount of the fee will be equal to 30% of the reserved services or $30, whichever is more.

​

If you are more than 15 minutes late for your service, we may not be able to accommodate you. In this case, the same cancellation fee will apply. We will do our very best to reschedule your service for another time that is convenient to you.

 

We require a credit card to hold your appointment. Cancellation fees will be charged to your card on file.

In the event of a true, unavoidable emergency, all or part of your cancellation fee may be applied to future services.

GIFT CARD TERMS


Gift Cards are a wonderful way to spoil family and friends and can be purchased in-store, online or over the phone.

They are valid for 12 months from the date of issue.

Gift cards are non-refundable and cannot be exchanged for cash.

​

Gift cards may be redeemed on any treatment or product and are also transferrable. If you are paying with a gift voucher, you will need to insert the voucher number at time of booking through the website. If you have a voucher and phone the centre to confirm a booking, you will need to quote your voucher number and present your e-voucher to reception upon arrival.

​

Lost or stolen gift cards are not replaced.

​

Please note the normal Booking Policy applies when using Gift Cards.

​

Membership terms and conditions also apply when gifting Memberships.

Remaining value is stored for future use. If purchase exceeds the gift card amount, the balance must be paid by other available payment options.

WHAT DO I NEED TO WEAR AND BRING?


To use water facilities at Soak House Adelaide, you will need swimwear (no nudity permitted) and a full towel.

Proper swimwear must be worn, and usual clothing (e.g. cotton t-shirts/shorts) cannot be worn in place of swimwear. Towels and robes are also available to hire. If you would prefer to wear footwear, you may bring your own non-slip slides or thongs.

We recommend staying well hydrated during your session and to bring a non-glass water bottle.

Underwear is required for all massage sessions.

​

CONFIDENTIAL QUESTIONNAIRE FOR TREATMENTS AND THERAPIES


For the purposes of providing the best care we can for you and in the case of specific regulations for health care professionals, we ask that you complete a confidential questionnaire prior to your appointment if your booking is coupled with a therapy or treatment.

You may be emailed the form or it may be collected directly from the centre.
The questionnaire and any other personal information collected from you is collected and stored in accordance with guidelines outlined in the Privacy Act 1988 and your personal information will not be disclosed to other parties without your direct consent.

GROUP BOOKING POLICY


All services booked as a group (3 or more people) require a deposit of 25% to secure the therapists or practitioners and a date whilst you confirm the people attending and their treatment selections.

We require that all people attending are booked into our system, so that they can complete necessary waivers and forms prior to the booking. To add all attendees to the booking, please either book them in on our booking system online or email hello@soakhouseadelaide.com.au the details at least 24 hours prior to your booking date.

The total group booking must be paid in full within 7 days prior to the booking date. If full payment is not received, the booking may be cancelled.

SPECIAL CONSIDERATION AND MEDICAL CONDITIONS


Whilst care is taken, Soak House Adelaide cannot guarantee that any of our treatments, products, services or catering are completely free from traces of allergens, or appropriate for any medical or other condition.

Any medical or other condition you may have could cause increased sensitivity to any of our treatments or provided refreshments and there could be specific contraindications requiring special precautions.

Please seek prior advice from your doctor or healthcare professional before making a booking. People being treated for chronic medical conditions should provide a written clearance from their doctor at the time of booking an appointment at the Soak House Adelaide or at any location where our business is conducted.

Soak House Adelaide is not a medical centre and cannot offer advice regarding the suitability or appropriateness of any of our treatments for any medical condition or compatibility with any prescription or professionally administered medication.

Any information provided by Soak House Adelaide, including by its’ employees or agents, should not be construed as a substitute for professional medical advice.

Staff at Soak House Adelaide can refuse you treatment if we deem that any of your medical conditions, treatment or services, we provide may cause harm to you, our staff or other guests.
